 How to make a booking

In order to find the perfect yacht for your requirements we need to know how many people will be in your group, what your budget is, and what you hope to achieve during your time on board.

For example, if you want to board in Athens, visit ten islands and return to Athens for disembarkation after a week, a small sailing vessel would not be a sensible choice, whereas a large fast motor yacht or motor sailer might be just the thing for you.

Once we know just what you are looking for we will search our extensive data base for vessels that suit your preferences and offer a choice of several yachts for your consideration.

When you have made your choice you will receive a Charter Agreement which sets out in detail the terms of your charter – dates, embarkation times, charter expenses, insurance, cancellation terms

You will then pay a deposit (usually 50% of the charter fee) and the yacht is secured for you for your chosen dates.

The balance of the charter fee is normally payable one month before the commencement of the charter.

Different ways in which you can enjoy the wonderful experience of a sea-faring holiday in Greek waters:

1. Bare-boating:
Experienced sailors may choose a bareboat. That is to say a yacht they sail themselves.
Two members of the party should hold a recognised sailing certificate.
If this is not the case then a professional skipper can be provided at a small extra cost per day.
There are no limits to where you may go and what you may see and do other than those imposed by the time you have available.

2. Flotilla:
If you are an inexperienced sailor, but still like the idea of manning the yacht yourself then you might like to consider a Flotilla holiday.
Essentially these are bareboat holidays in a group led by highly experienced
professionals who nurse you gently from anchorage to anchorage.
Your route is planned for you
and help is always at hand.

3. Crewed Yacht Charter:
This is the ultimate pleasure for many - a yacht of a size and price to suit your budget and the size of your group, fully crewed and providing breakfast and lunch daily.
You can discuss your itinerary ahead of time or on a day to day basis, but most people find that leaving themselves in the experienced hands of the captain and crew offers a wonderful range of sights and experiences to make their vacation unforgettable.
